3. Educational Disclaimer

Cognify is intended as a supplemental educational tool.

Course content, quizzes, challenges, AI-generated explanations, badges, and other learning materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Cognify does not guarantee:

  • Educational outcomes;

  • Examination success;

  • Professional certification;

  • Government accreditation;

  • Employment opportunities.

Users should always rely on official publications, government resources, accredited educational institutions, and official course materials when preparing for examinations or making educational decisions.

AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;

  • All activities occurring under your account;

  • Providing accurate account information.

You agree not to:

  • Share your account with others;

  • Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts;

  • Use automated tools to manipulate scores, challenges, rewards, or leaderboards.

5. Leaderboards and Public Information

Cognify may display public leaderboards.

Only the following information may be publicly displayed:

  • Username

  • Country

  • Course rankings

  • Scores

  • Progress metrics

  • Achievement badges

Cognify will not publicly display:

  • Email addresses

  • First names

  • Last names

6. Badges and Achievements

Cognify may issue completion badges and achievement indicators.

These badges:

  • Represent activity completed within Cognify;

  • Are not professional certifications;

  • Do not represent accreditation;

  • Do not guarantee educational competency.

7. User Comments

Users may submit comments on courses and content.

You agree not to post:

  • Illegal content;

  • Harassing content;

  • Hate speech;

  • Defamatory statements;

  • Spam;

  • Malicious links.

Cognify reserves the right to remove content at its sole discretion.

8. Artificial Intelligence

Cognify uses artificial intelligence to:

  • Generate questions;

  • Analyze answers;

  • Recommend learning content;

  • Personalize learning experiences.

AI-generated content is provided without warranties regarding completeness or accuracy.

9. Subscriptions, Credits, and Payments

Certain content and features require payment.

Payments may be processed through third-party providers including Stripe and future payment processors.

Subscription Plans

Subscription plans may include:

  • Weekly plans

  • Monthly plans

  • Quarterly plans

  • Yearly plans

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

Non-Recurring Plans

Certain promotional or short-term plans, including one-day access plans, expire automatically after the stated period and do not renew.

Credits

Cognify may offer purchasable credits that provide access to premium features, rewards, or other platform benefits.

Credits have no cash value and may not be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.

10. Refund Policy

All purchases are final.

Cognify does not provide refunds for:

  • Subscription payments;

  • Credit purchases;

  • Premium content access;

  • Partial subscription periods;

  • Unused account balances.

Users may cancel recurring subscriptions at any time. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle the user to a refund for previous payments.

Where required by applicable law, mandatory consumer rights may still apply.

11. Advertising

Cognify may display advertisements.

Advertisements may appear:

  • Within courses;

  • Between learning sessions;

  • Within reward systems;

  • Throughout the platform experience.

Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

All Cognify branding, software, interfaces, course structures, graphics, badges, and platform features are owned by Cognify or its licensors.

Users may not:

  • Copy;

  • Redistribute;

  • Resell;

  • Reverse engineer;

  • Reproduce

any portion of the platform without written permission.

13. Account Termination

Users may permanently delete their accounts.

Cognify reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the platform.

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

15. Changes to These Terms

Cognify may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
